[DhtmlXQ_comment0] 本局最早的局名為“跨海征東”，約在1870年前後成局，曾刊於1879年木版刻印的《蕉窗逸品》（第２局），但圖勢沒有黑方１路邊象，紅方較易謀和。後經民間藝人的不斷演變、反覆實踐、總結提高，加上了黑方１路邊象，成為如圖棋勢，黑方攻擊力得到增強，使得紅方謀和難度加大，從而使這局棋顯得著法更為深奧，變化更為複雜，並於晚清年間被分別收於手抄本《蕉竹齋象棋譜》（第１局）和《湖涯集象棋譜》（第６局）中，局名改為“小征東”，一直流傳至今，允稱佳局。||　　這兩部古抄本雖然都詳細列出了“小征東”的變化，但也有不少謬誤之處。現代排局名家瞿問秋、楊明忠經過多年研究，結合民間流傳著法，演變出了一些精妙著法。他倆將這局棋全面詳盡地整理成文，先後發表於由他倆合編的1959年上海文化出版社出版的《民間象棋排局選》（第30局）和1985年蜀蓉棋藝出版社出版的《江湖殘局》（第28局）中。|| “小征東”圖勢結構嚴謹，著法深奧，變化繁複，是一則“脫帽”後車炮大斗車卒的江湖大局，在民間流傳甚廣，影響也很大，也是象棋江湖藝人的謀生法寶。筆者對這局棋也曾作過研究，現博採眾長，並結合自己的研究心得，整理介紹如下：[/DhtmlXQ_comment0]
